Our story
UM Cars was founded with a simple idea: buying a used car shouldn’t be stressful, pushy or full of surprises. As a local, independent dealer based on Springwood Industrial Estate in Braintree, we hand-pick every car on our forecourt, check it thoroughly, and stand behind it with a warranty as standard.
Over the years we’ve built our reputation on word of mouth across mid-Essex — from Braintree and Witham to Halstead, Chelmsford and Colchester. Many of our customers come back for their next car, and send their family and friends our way.
