These terms apply to your use of this website and to purchases and reservations made with Ulyses Martin Cars Ltd (trading as UM Cars), 50 Warner Drive, Springwood Industrial Estate, Braintree, Essex, CM7 2YW.
About our listings
We take care to describe every vehicle accurately, including mileage, specification and history. Details are provided in good faith; minor errors can occur, so please confirm anything important to you before purchase. Images are of the actual vehicle unless stated otherwise.
Vehicle condition
Our cars are used vehicles. Each is inspected and HPI-checked before sale and sold with a warranty as standard (details provided with the vehicle). Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected: vehicles must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, taking into account age and mileage.
Reservations
You may reserve a vehicle by paying a reservation fee of 10% of the advertised price. This takes the car off the market for you. The fee is fully refundable and, if you complete the purchase, forms part of the final price. See our Refund & Reservation Policy for full details.
Payment and collection
The balance is payable before or on collection/delivery. We accept bank transfer and major payment methods; we will confirm options with you. Ownership passes when payment has cleared in full.
Delivery
We deliver across the UK. Delivery dates are estimates and we will keep you informed. Please inspect the vehicle on delivery and note any issues with the driver.
Part exchange
Part-exchange valuations are based on the information you provide and are subject to inspection of the vehicle. If the vehicle differs materially from its description, the valuation may be revised.
Finance
Where finance is arranged, it is provided by third-party lenders subject to status and affordability. We may act as a credit broker, not a lender. A representative example does not constitute an offer.
Complaints
If something is not right, contact us at sales@umcars.co.uk or 07418 355979 and we will do our best to put it right promptly.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them limits your statutory rights.
